The channel you already own, finally earning its keep
Search brings someone to your website once. Email lets you talk to them again, as often as you need to. It is also the only list you actually own, because nobody can change an algorithm and take it away. That is also why an email marketing agency should be judged on revenue per send rather than open rates. We handle the whole channel for you: the automated emails, the campaigns, the audience segments and the technical setup that gets your emails into the inbox.
The flows that earn while you sleep
Campaigns are the emails you write and send to a list. Flows are automatic emails, triggered by something a customer did. You set a flow up once and it keeps sending. For most shops, flows earn more money than campaigns do.
Welcome series
People open these more than any other email you send. Most brands waste that attention on a single discount code.
Abandoned cart
Still the highest earning automatic email in ecommerce. Three emails spaced out properly beats one sent an hour later.
Browse abandonment
This is for people who viewed a product but never added it to their basket. It earns less than cart emails, but it reaches people earlier.
Post purchase
Delivery updates get opened almost every time. After those, you send a reason to come back before the customer forgets you.
Winback
Emailing a past customer costs you nothing, and they buy far more often than a stranger does.
Replenishment
For products that run out. The timing is based on how long the product lasts, not on a fixed calendar date.
Stop sending the same email to everybody
The quickest win in most accounts is not a better subject line. It is sending fewer emails, to the right people. When you split your list into groups and send each group what suits them, the numbers improve on their own. You also stop irritating the people who were never going to buy this week.
- Groups based on what people bought and viewed, not just when they signed up
- Active, fading and inactive subscribers treated differently
- How often each group hears from you, set per group
- Rules that stop anyone getting the same message three times
- A plain English calendar showing what goes out next month
A beautiful email in the spam folder is worth nothing
Most agencies skip this part, and it decides whether everything else works. Gmail and Outlook check that your emails genuinely come from you. If that check fails, your email goes to spam no matter how good it is.
Getting into the inbox
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up correctly, so Gmail trusts your emails
- Sending volume increased slowly, instead of thousands of emails on day one
- Dead addresses removed, because they damage delivery for everyone else on your list
- Spam complaints and bounces checked every week
Built to be read
- Templates that look right on phones and in dark mode
- A plain text version that still reads properly
- Image descriptions and strong contrast, so everyone can read it
- Tested across Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail before sending
Consent and the law
- GDPR and PECR for the UK and Europe
- CAN-SPAM for the United States
- A record of when and how each person opted in
- An unsubscribe link that works first time
A Klaviyo agency that works in your stack, not ours
We do not resell any of these tools and we take no commission from them. That means our recommendation is based on what suits your business, not on what earns us money.
Klaviyo
Our first choice for online shops. It connects deeply to Shopify and WooCommerce, so your automatic emails can use real order data.
Mailchimp
Good for simple lists and newsletters. We are happy working in it, and we will tell you honestly when your business has outgrown it.
HubSpot
Best when your email needs to sit inside your CRM, so your sales team sees the same history you do.
ActiveCampaign
Strong automation for service businesses, where customers take a long time to decide.
Shopify Email
A sensible choice for smaller shops that want everything in one place and only need a few automatic emails.
Or a migration
Moving from one platform to another without losing your automatic emails, your history or your ability to reach the inbox.
What an email marketing agency changes when it runs properly
Figures from live accounts. We do not publish client names.
- Automatic emails grew from a fifth of store revenue to just over a third
- An ignored list of 40,000 people brought back to life, with no new subscribers bought
- Emails reaching the inbox again after the domain had been blocklisted

Email questions we get asked most
Starting with cost, and with the open rate collapse everyone noticed.
How much does an email marketing agency cost?
It depends on whether we are building your automatic emails from scratch or running an account that already works. Building the main automations is a one off project with a fixed price. Running campaigns each month is a monthly fee, based on how often you send and how much design each email needs. We quote the two separately, so you can start with the build and decide about the monthly work later.
Do we need a big list for this to be worth it?
No. Small lists often perform better, because they have not been emailed to death. A thousand interested subscribers will earn more than ten thousand who forgot they signed up. If your list is small, we usually start with the automatic emails, because those work on every new subscriber without needing a big list.
Our open rates collapsed. What happened?
It is probably not your fault. Apple now loads images automatically on its Mail app, which makes emails look opened when nobody read them. That broke open rates as a useful measure for everybody. We report on clicks, sales and revenue per email instead. If your emails really have stopped arriving, we check your technical setup and your list quality first.
How often should we email?
More often than you think, but to fewer people each time. Most brands come to us emailing their whole list twice a month and wondering why nothing happens. Emailing your active subscribers weekly, and everyone else monthly, almost always works better. We test that on your list rather than assuming it.
Can you write the emails as well as build them?
Yes. Writing, design and building are all included. The same team writes our SEO content writing, so your emails sound like the rest of your website, not like a different company wrote them.
Do you handle SMS too?
Yes, where it makes sense. SMS works well for urgent things like a sale ending or a delivery update. It works badly as a second copy of the same email. The consent rules are stricter for text messages, so we keep those lists and permissions separate.
Who owns the account and the list?
You do, always. The account is in your name and on your billing. We work inside it. If we ever stop working together, nothing needs to be moved or handed over. We apply that rule to every account we touch.
Send us your platform and a recent campaign. We will tell you what we would change first.
Tell us what you need and we will show you how we would do it
Share a few details about your business and what you want to fix or build. It could be a new website, a WordPress site that keeps breaking, SEO that has stalled, or a sales process that needs automating. We will come back with honest advice, even if that means a smaller job than you expected.
A reply within one business day
A real person on the team reads your message and replies, usually the same day.
A free review of your current setup
We look at your website, rankings or systems before we talk, so the call is useful.
A written proposal
You get a clear scope, timeline and price in writing before any work starts.
